Oak Meadow School, an independent Montessori school in Littleton, Massachusetts, faced a major challenge when the pandemic forced it to quickly shift from in-person teaching to a hybrid model while keeping students engaged and included. The result was a more natural, inclusive classroom experience and the ability to continue teaching a full curriculum with no significant learning loss; the school also reported an “amazing year” and plans to expand use of Webex for virtual enrichment experiences.
