Wichita Falls Gastroenterology Associates (WFGIA), a Texas-based physician group with two locations, faced costly patient no-shows that reduced clinical capacity and strained staff workflows. CipherHealth implemented automated Voice pre-appointment calls that remind patients of date, time, location and physician and let them confirm, reschedule, or cancel—with real-time alerts to staff for rescheduling. Using CipherHealth’s Voice, WFGIA placed more than 8,000 reminder calls, rescheduled over 600 appointments, achieved a 73% engagement rate, cut no-shows by 98%, increased appointment completions by 13%, and saw 83% of patients who confirmed on a call complete their visit.
