E-ONE Improves Efficiency with Cincom CPQ

E-ONE, part of the REV Group and a leading U.S. fire apparatus manufacturer with over 23,000 vehicles in service, faced a growing challenge: highly customizable vehicles with up to 14,000 options led to error-prone quoting, inconsistent bill-of-materials, long order-release times and heavy reliance on tribal knowledge at dealers and in manufacturing.

To address this, E-ONE implemented EzONE, a product configurator built on Cincom CPQ (2005–2007), to capture product knowledge, enforce rules and integrate with legacy systems. The result: dealers can generate quotes in under 20 minutes, order processing time dropped 41%, lead times fell up to 51%, and the company gained better forecasting, lower manufacturing and inventory costs, faster market response and higher dealer and customer satisfaction.
