Fassi Gru is an Italian crane manufacturer (founded 1965) that builds highly customized cranes—over 60 models in some 30,000 configurations—and sells through a global dealer network across nearly 60 markets. As order volume grew, incoming orders arrived by email and fax, requiring time-consuming technical checks and manual corrections before ERP entry; Fassi needed a user-friendly configurator that guaranteed error-free configurations, could be managed in-house by production experts, and integrated fully with their ERP.

Fassi implemented Cincom CPQ (guided selling and product configuration) in about six months with a small team and minimal training.
