MARS Rings the Changes for Virgin Mobile

Virgin Mobile, the UK MVNO with more than four million customers, needed to automate the scheduling and distribution of Microsoft Access reports to support a busy supply chain handling thousands of items across web, telesales and retail channels. To avoid manual report generation and improve stock visibility and decision-making, Virgin Mobile selected MARS from ChristianSteven Software to schedule, format and deliver reports automatically.

ChristianSteven Software’s MARS was deployed (initially on a desktop, then on a managed Windows Server) to run hourly, daily, weekly and on‑demand reports, and to send data‑driven stock alerts; users can request reports by email and receive PDF/Excel outputs automatically. The implementation streamlined logistics, improved decision-making and stock control, maximized sales, cut administrative overhead, and—per Virgin Mobile—“has easily paid for itself several times over.”
