AAA New York - Customer Case Study

AAA New York, which serves nearly 1.6 million members across New York City and 15 counties, needed to secure a complex environment of headquarters, branch offices, call centers and an ecommerce site. The organization faced next‑generation and Web 2.0 threats, strict industry and government compliance requirements, limited visibility across multiple network segments, and high management complexity.

To address this, AAA deployed Check Point’s Software Blade architecture—Application Control, URL Filtering, IPS, Anti‑Spam & Email Security, Firewall, VPN and SmartEvent/SmartReporter—across UTM and IPS appliances and open servers to centralize enforcement, logging and reporting. The consolidated solution improved granular web and application control, protected member data, reduced spam, simplified administration and reporting, and increased staff productivity while supporting regulatory compliance.
