Discovery Museum engages 150+ daily visitors with CGI’s AI expo

The Discovery Museum in the Netherlands partnered with CGI to address the challenge of making the complex topic of artificial intelligence accessible and engaging for its visitors. The museum wanted to move AI from an abstract concept to a tangible experience that would also provoke critical thinking about its ethical implications and risks in everyday life. They sought a technology partner with deep expertise in responsible AI.

CGI, utilizing its SmartLab, developed an interactive exhibition featuring an AI-driven tracking system that created a personalized visitor experience. The solution used computer vision to adapt content to individual interests and prompted reflection on data privacy. This project, co-created using an agile approach, resulted in a highly successful exhibit that educates over 150 visitors daily, fostering greater public understanding of AI's opportunities and challenges.
