ALPI secures electronic archiving for nearly 500 member communities with CGI

The customer, Agence Landaise Pour L'informatique (ALPI), an IT agency for communities in the Landes department of France, faced the challenge of securely and legally archiving the growing volume of electronic documents from its member communities, with a risk of data loss. They engaged vendor CGI to create a probative document archiving platform.

CGI implemented the Archiland platform, utilizing the SAE As@lae solution, to collect, process, store, and transmit digital archives. The solution provided secure storage and automated tasks for the public institutions. As a result of CGI's work, the director of ALPI assisted in promoting the successful solution to other local government bodies.
