Allied Command Transformation cuts document processing from 5–10 minutes to 27 seconds with CGI

CGI collaborated with NATO's Allied Command Transformation (ACT) to address the challenge of manually processing and analyzing hundreds of daily security documents, a time-consuming process that hindered rapid information use and decision-making within the classified NATO SECRET network.

The solution was AI FELIX, an on-premises, AI-powered knowledge agent built using CGI AIOps Director. CGI industrialized an initial prototype into a scalable enterprise service, implementing the Command Read Board module across 27 NATO locations. This reduced document processing time from 5-10 minutes to 27 seconds, provided AI-driven task management, and delivered a customized digital assistant, establishing NATO's first widely used AI capability.
