Tschuggen Hotel Group, a family-run Swiss luxury hotel collection, needed to add secure pre-payment and credit-card authorization into automated guest communications to simplify the guest experience, reduce manual work for staff, and maintain PCI compliance. They engaged Cendyn, using Cendyn’s CRM/NextGuest integration together with a Worldline/SIX Payment Services payment gateway, to deliver the required payment functionality.

Cendyn implemented automated transactional emails that include “pay now” or “confirm now” buttons which redirect guests to a secure Worldline/SIX payment page, removing sensitive card handling from the hotels. The solution eliminated manual input errors (100%), reduced payment loss by 5% (trending up), saved about 5 minutes per payment transaction, and ensured PSD2 and PCI-compliant processing for Tschuggen Hotel Group.
