A difficult-to-navigate career site, entirely paper-based hiring processes, no screening protocol, inconsistent recruiting marketing, and competition from larger employers made hiring slow, inefficient and damaging to the candidate experience.

Partnering with CareerBuilder, Ariens implemented an Applicant Tracking System and CareerBuilder Employment Screening for background and drug checks. The ATS automated workflows, improved candidate communication and reporting, and the screening service cut background checks from about two weeks to two days and delivered same-day drug results—allowing faster offers, a better candidate experience and more time for HR to focus on strategic hiring.
