Little Freddie A climate footprint growth spurt

The baby food brand Little Freddie wanted to understand and transparently communicate the full climate impact of its products, including emissions from its agricultural supply chain. To achieve this goal and support its Big Green Plan, the company partnered with the climate intelligence platform CarbonCloud to conduct a detailed climate footprint analysis.

Using CarbonCloud's services, Little Freddie calculated the footprints of five products, revealing that agriculture was the largest source of emissions, with dairy contributing up to 70% for yoghurts. This data enabled Little Freddie to climate-optimize its supply chain, increase supplier engagement, and successfully launch a new low-carbon product. The transparency initiative resulted in highly positive feedback from parents and motivated Little Freddie to add climate labels to its packaging, a first for the industry.
