Planview, an enterprise work and resource management platform serving more than 4,500 customers and 1.3 million users worldwide, needed a better way to manage its growing commission workload. Before CaptivateIQ, the team relied on Excel spreadsheets and manual processes to handle eight compensation plans for over 150 sales reps, which made monthly and quarterly calculations time-consuming and more prone to errors.
With CaptivateIQ’s incentive compensation software, Planview automated its end-to-end commission process, integrated commission data with Salesforce, and gave sales reps real-time visibility into pay statements and deal progress. The results were significant: monthly calculation processing time dropped from two to three days to about two hours, a 90%+ reduction, while accuracy improved and reps gained better insight into quota attainment and expected payouts.
