Amicus Horizon Housing Group, a social housing provider with more than 80 office locations and over 28,000 homes to manage, struggled with the complexity of handling huge volumes of property and tenancy documents across dispersed teams. To improve access, compliance, and information sharing, it turned to Capita One’s Swordfish electronic document management solution.

Capita One implemented Swordfish to scan, index, store, and retrieve documents centrally, integrating with Amicus Horizon’s housing management and CRM systems and supporting both paper and electronic records. The result was faster access to up-to-date information, better customer service, improved business continuity, reduced office storage needs, and stronger efficiency gains, with around three million documents now held in the system.
