Helping Rochford District Council’s visiting officers become more effective with Capita’s mobile Visit Manager

Rochford District Council, a coastal district council in Essex, needed a better way for its visiting officers to plan and manage field visits more efficiently while reducing wasted travel and time spent returning to the office. The council, a long-standing user of Capita One software, upgraded to Capita’s mobile Visit Manager solution to improve scheduling, visibility, and back-office updates.

Capita One implemented Visit Manager with mapping, mobile visit selection, automatic synchronisation, photo capture, and access to account notes, helping officers complete more visits, save time, and avoid manual keying. The solution also gave management better visibility of outstanding and completed visits, and Rochford District Council reported few teething troubles during implementation, with further efficiencies expected as Capita One’s Building Works module is added.
