A Capita One Case Study
Central Bedfordshire College, a provider of education and training across Bedfordshire, worked with Capita One and used Capita’s UNIT-e information management software and Facilities Management service. When the College suffered a complete server failure during a critical period with a statutory statistical return due, it faced the risk of missing an important deadline and disrupting services for more than 6,000 learners.
Capita One immediately activated its Disaster Recovery service, delivering a replacement server within five hours and sending an engineer on-site shortly after. Data was restored and systems were back up by around 10pm the same day, limiting disruption to just seven to eight hours and enabling the College to meet its deadline while avoiding wider service impact.
