A Capita One Case Study
Conwy County Borough Council sought to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction within its Revenue and Benefits service. The council identified key areas for improvement, including the high expense of pre-printed stationery and the inefficiency of sending multiple separate letters. To address these challenges, the council chose to implement the ProPrint software solution from vendor Capita One.
The Capita solution, implemented with assistance from partner XLPrint, consolidated correspondence and eliminated the need for pre-printed forms. This allowed the council to merge Council Tax and benefits documents into a single mailing. The results were significant, with Capita helping the council achieve estimated annual savings of £10,000 on stationery and £6,000 on postage, while also halving benefit postal costs and reducing customer queries.
