How Capacity helped Prepare.ai scale its growth by fielding external questions

Prepare.ai, a St. Louis-based nonprofit focused on making artificial intelligence accessible to businesses and individuals, was growing quickly but had a small team and limited resources. Ahead of its annual conference, the organization needed a way to handle the many external questions from prospective attendees without pulling staff away from mission-critical work. To help, Prepare.ai turned to Capacity and its AI-powered knowledge sharing chatbot.

With Capacity, Prepare.ai automated answers to common conference questions about speakers, dates, location, and mission, freeing the team to focus on speaker recruitment and event execution. In the month before the event, the Capacity chatbot successfully answered more than 400 questions, including 100 about who was speaking. As a result, Prepare.ai expanded the 2019 conference to 50 speakers, up from 30 the year before, and filled every seat while staying within nonprofit budget constraints.
