Callbox Brings the Sunshine to Sales Lead Generation

The Sydney-based Electricity Retailing Company, a new electricity retailer targeting Australian SMEs, needed to quickly build a sales pipeline and set face‑to‑face appointments to win customers and lower consumers’ energy bills. To achieve this they engaged Callbox for a lead generation campaign using outbound calling and multi‑channel marketing support.

Callbox ran a phased campaign—starting with a single‑seat program in July 2015 that produced 28 leads, then scaling to three agents plus three “special campaigns” to deliver 79 leads in month two and 96 in month three. Working closely with the client’s sales team on training, scripts, collateral, calendars, databases and email templates, Callbox generated strong, measurable lead volume, earned a referral to the client’s sister company (which yielded 150 leads and a renewal), and is planning a power‑dialer integration to further improve lead quality and sustain growth.
