Case Study: Klarna achieves consistent global branding and faster go-to-market with Bynder

A Bynder Case Study

Preview of the Klarna Case Study

How Klarna boosts their strong brand strategy with the help of Bynder

Klarna, founded in 2005, is one of Europe’s largest payment providers, processing around 1,000,000 transactions per day and posting 46% year‑on‑year growth in 2018. Rapid expansion across 18 markets, 280 autonomous teams, 2,500 employees and dozens of external agencies had led to inconsistent brand presence and poor visibility into which assets were in use — problems made worse by fragmented asset sharing via Google Drive.

Klarna implemented Bynder’s “Locker” digital asset management as a single source of truth, offering self‑service access to assets, online brand guidelines and usage analytics. The platform now stores 5,241 assets with 2,073 active users, 54,536 downloads and 11,118 guideline views, enabling faster, on‑brand execution (including a global brand refresh rolled out in two weeks) and better collaboration with partners and agencies.
