AGRO International, an EU market leader in bedsprings, faced challenges with its previous Excel-based solutions for managing machine master data and quality assurance. They turned to BSI Business Systems Integration AG and adopted the Eclipse Scout open source framework for the internal development of new database applications.

BSI Business Systems Integration AG provided training and the Scout framework, enabling a small internal team at AGRO to become productive within a week. The solution integrated multiple data sources onto a single platform and included a web service for mobile devices. As a result, AGRO successfully replaced its old systems and gained the ability to autonomously develop its own specialized software.
