UCSF CEPC Moved its in-Person Training to Bridge Practice, Improving Reach, Engagement, and Health Coaching

The University of California, San Francisco Center for Excellence in Primary Care (UCSF CEPC) provides health coaching skills training to improve primary care delivery but faced growing demand and the need to make its hands-on, in-person course more accessible and flexible for busy clinical teams. CEPC wanted a self-paced, interactive solution that preserved role-play, peer feedback, and capstone assessment while expanding reach beyond local cohorts.

CEPC moved the 10‑week curriculum to Bridge Practice, combining a kickoff webinar, weekly skills modules, video role-plays, and a final capstone demonstration. The online, mobile-ready program increased national reach and engagement, enabled real-time analytics and targeted feedback for scalable delivery, and resulted in trainees regularly applying health-coaching skills in practice.
