Case Study: Adult & Teen Challenge achieves higher compliance and scalable staff training with Bridge

A Bridge Case Study

Preview of the Adult & Teen Challenge Case Study

Nonprofit Adult & Teen Challenge increased compliance completion rates, cut costs, and helped employees develop the skills to support its recovery programs

Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC) is a nonprofit recovery organization with 217 centers across North America that trains more than 3,500 staff to support people with substance use and life-controlling issues. ATC faced strict compliance and accreditation requirements, a 30-day onboarding deadline for new hires, and limited budget and travel capacity; its previous basic online tools offered no reporting or scalable course-building, forcing manual certificate tracking and turning training into a checkbox exercise.

In April 2020 ATC adopted Bridge’s LMS to centralize content, track completion with analytics, and share courses across subaccounts; the team built 80+ programs and three Bridge Journeys (Ignite, Fuse, Forge) for progressive development. The platform improved compliance reporting and learner engagement, enabled a 40% reduction in training costs, helped centers achieve 100% compliance in places, supported university credit pathways for executives, and contributed to better staff skills and student outcomes (78% sober at one year).
