Movement Mortgage is a rapidly growing retail mortgage lender founded in 2008 and headquartered near Charlotte, NC, with roughly 4,000 employees. As the company expanded, it needed a learner-focused, scalable solution to manage extensive regulatory training, deliver efficient sales-oriented learning for a distributed and largely junior workforce, and support career development with a strong user experience.

Three years after adopting Instructure’s Bridge platform, Movement streamlined content authoring and combined off-the-shelf and self-built courses, improved reporting and analytics with automated manager updates and deep-dive dashboards, and leveraged open APIs for further BI analysis. The platform has increased accountability, simplified regulatory and internal reporting, and is helping the company pilot ongoing performance tools (1:1s, goal-setting and continuous feedback), shifting them away from once-a-year reviews and strengthening the partnership between HR, managers and employees.
