The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) in South Australia supports a widely dispersed workforce — from Adelaide to remote regional centres — and faced the challenge of scaling consistent, timely training for employees, contractors and vendors amid frequent legislative and regulatory changes. They needed blended learning options, easier distribution of subject-matter expertise without costly travel, and a way to keep content current and accessible across the whole department.
DEW implemented Bridge Learn to create a centralized, flexible learning program with native in‑app authoring, “just-in-time” content and blended delivery, allowing experts to share modules remotely and managers to update courses quickly. The result is streamlined, scalable L&D with improved knowledge flow and consistency across regions, freed-up SME time, faster deployment of legislative and safety training, and measurable success via course uptake in regional sites and reduced training expenditure.
