How Working Links transformed employees’ personal accountability for learning and development with Bridge

Working Links, a UK social-impact provider of employment, skills and probation services, faced a rapid scale-up when a new probation contract expanded its staff from 450 to 1,500 overnight. An L&D audit found 85% of training was classroom-based, creating cost and cohesion challenges across a geographically dispersed workforce and revealing the need for a blended, more digital learning approach to unify operating practices and improve role-specific development.

Working Links adopted Bridge to author and import SCORM content, create job-specific learning pathways, and provide managers with real-time visibility into learning. The platform was rolled out with simple user guidance for less tech-savvy staff, driving self-directed learning. Results included a 440% increase in user adoption over 24 months, an average 68% completion rate for required courses (trending toward 80% with a 13% increase), a 1000%+ rise in creation of required course materials, hundreds of optional courses taken monthly, and much faster course authoring and deployment.
