Storytel Leverages Braze Content Cards to Increase User Base to 1.5 Million

Storytel, a global audiobook and ebook streaming service, needed to scale communications and deliver localized, personalized experiences as it expanded into new markets. To solve gaps in automation and cross-market collaboration, Storytel engaged Braze and adopted Braze tools like Content Cards and Canvas to support a cross-channel strategy.

Using Braze Content Cards, Canvas, Liquid personalization and coordinated in-app, email, and push campaigns, Storytel built localized, multi-step customer journeys and tested conversion events with control groups. The Braze-powered approach drove a 20–30% view rate on Content Cards, lifted email open rates to all-time highs, and helped Storytel grow its subscriber base to 1.5 million.
