Pomelo Fashion, a Bangkok-based fast-fashion e-commerce brand, faced high cart abandonment and needed ways to nudge customers back to complete purchases and alert them when favored items were low in stock. To address this, Pomelo partnered with Braze and used the Braze platform (including Canvas lifecycle engagement, push notifications, News Feed cards and geofence support) to reach app-centric shoppers with timely messages.
By leveraging Braze’s Canvas, Connected Content dynamic personalization, News Feed and geo-triggered push capabilities, Pomelo ran targeted campaigns at the “Browsed Category” and “Added Item to Cart” stages, testing hyper-personalized pushes (user name + item image) against generic messages. The Braze-powered approach drove a 126% increase in sessions and a 66% increase in conversion rate for the cart-level campaign, while the category campaign produced a 5% session lift, an 84% conversion uplift and a 235% revenue increase versus control groups.
