How BoozeBud Drove a 25% Increase in Revenue With SMS

BoozeBud, an Australian online alcohol retailer known for low prices, wide selection, and fast delivery, wanted to make more frequent and effective use of SMS but was limited by running texts via a webhook to another platform. Because that setup prevented full access to Braze features and required manual opt-out uploads, BoozeBud engaged Braze to bring SMS in-house using Braze’s native SMS capabilities.

Working with Braze, BoozeBud completed a full SMS integration in about four weeks, enabling tools like Subscription Groups to automate consent and opt-out management and rolling SMS into lifecycle and win‑back campaigns (starting with a birthday sale). The results were a 25% increase in revenue versus previous efforts and a 2.35% lift in conversions, while making CRM processes more efficient thanks to Braze.
