Hosco, a global recruitment and social platform for the hospitality industry, needed to boost profile completion, employer engagement, and app ratings among job seekers. To tackle these challenges the company partnered with Braze, using Braze Canvas, cross-channel messaging (email and push), Liquid personalization tags, and in-app prompts to tailor onboarding and re-engagement flows.
Using Braze, Hosco launched personalized, multi-path journeys that nudged users to finish profiles, re-open the app, and apply for jobs; in-app triggers also prompted satisfied users to rate the app. The results were a 54% increase in unique click-to-open rates, 10,000 new job applications, a 17%+ lift in app-store ratings (raising Google Play to 4.7 and Apple to 4.8), and a clear spike in monthly active users.
