GOGOX, an APAC-based app-first last-mile delivery platform, wanted to turn existing word-of-mouth momentum into a scalable referral program to grow installs more efficiently. To build and launch the program quickly, GOGOX partnered with Braze, expanding beyond in-app messaging to use Braze’s cross-channel messaging suite (in-app, push, email, News Feed) and Promotion Codes to create and distribute unique referral links.
Using Braze to deliver referral links (with prefilled WhatsApp share CTAs) and integrating AppsFlyer for attribution, GOGOX ran a measurable cross-channel campaign that cut Cost Per Install by as much as 63% (Vietnam) and 21% in Singapore, while referral-acquired users showed double the retention rate and Hong Kong referrers averaged three new users each—demonstrating Braze’s ability to drive lower acquisition costs and higher-quality installs.
