8Fit, a Berlin-based fitness and nutrition app, needed to boost weekly engagement with its new "workout classes" and reinforce users’ daily fitness routines by matching messages to each person’s place in their journey. To solve this, 8Fit partnered with Braze, using Liquid personalization and Braze tools like Canvas to orchestrate Email, Push, and In‑App Messaging.

Braze implemented multi-channel, dynamically personalized campaigns—using Liquid templates and Canvas decision splits to segment users by streak status and send tailored nudges, rewards, and trial offers. The campaign drove a 40% uplift in weekly class views, a 17% uplift in weekly class completions, a 4% uplift in overall workout finishes, and a 13% conversion rate from free to paid users, all while reducing developer effort thanks to Braze.
