Delivery Hero, the global online food-delivery marketplace, wanted to expand its reachable user base for Talabat after Apple introduced provisional push in iOS 12. With support from Braze, Delivery Hero sought a way to nudge iOS users who hadn’t opted in to allow notifications and make push a more effective channel.

Braze helped Delivery Hero build an in‑app message with an animated GIF and an onboarding flow in Canvas, targeting iOS 12+ users who hadn’t enabled push and using Liquid personalization for language. The campaign drove a 36% increase in push‑enabled iOS users and a significant uplift in push send‑out volumes, demonstrating clear, measurable impact.
