Cabify’s ‘Invisible Email’ Raises Social Awareness While Driving Engagement

Cabify, the Spanish ride‑sharing app, wanted to celebrate inclusiveness and recognize blind and low‑vision users for White Cane Day. To execute the idea, Cabify partnered with Braze, using the Braze Alloys ecosystem and Braze Canvas to design a targeted, two‑part “invisible” email that showcased the app’s accessibility features.

Using Braze (with HTML templates built via partner Taxi for Email and analytics tied into Amplitude and Tableau), Cabify sent an initial visually blank email with VoiceOver‑read descriptive text, then a follow‑up explaining the concept and accessibility features. The Braze‑powered campaign reached all active users from the past year, generated social and press buzz, and achieved an 84% reopen rate—84% of recipients who opened the second message returned to view the first.
