A Brandwatch Case Study
Babson College needed a way to prepare undergraduates for a highly competitive graduate job market by giving them practical experience with the same analytics tools used in the workplace. The college set out to build a Digital Analytics course that would teach a full range of analytics techniques while using software recognizable to employers and feasible to teach within a single term.
Adopting Brandwatch for Classrooms let students run end-to-end projects—brand monitoring, competitor analysis, data collection and prep, machine-learning text segmentation, and dashboard reporting—within one platform, supported by training materials and certification. As a result, students left the course with real-world skills and confidence in social media analytics, using their reports to demonstrate expertise in job interviews and start work ready to contribute.
