OpenTable, the world’s leading online restaurant reservations provider, needed its brand to match sixteen years of innovation and a broader role in hospitality. The company undertook an 18‑month rebrand—new logos, colors, typography and a tagline—but required a secure, centralized way for designers and marketers to collaborate, protect assets, and control what was public versus private during the rollout.
OpenTable adopted Brandfolder to host and manage 275+ brand assets, using password‑protected private folders, embeddable asset galleries on brand.opentable.com, and split public/private sharing to give teams and partners controlled access. The platform supported OpenTable’s Brand Pillars and new tagline, streamlined collaboration and secure asset distribution, and enabled a smooth, organized launch of the refreshed brand.
