Case Study: Multi‑National Financial Company achieves full visibility and automated IoT quarantine with Bradford Networks' Network Sentry

A Bradford Networks Case Study

Preview of the Financial Company Case Study

Designing Security Automation and Orchestration Technology into a Smart Building

Bradford Networks was engaged by a multinational financial firm to build security into a new greenfield smart-building project that supports roughly 10,000 endpoints (about 6,000 corporate devices and 3,000+ IoT devices, including 1,300 cameras). The firm’s strict policy—no wired network access unless a device is a known, trusted company asset—had to be enforced from construction onward, requiring cataloging and provisioning of every device, temporary vendor networks, and dense microsegmentation (200+ VLANs) across a phased 1.5‑year installation.

Bradford deployed its Network Sentry Security Automation & Orchestration platform to provide full visibility, agent-based device profiling and serial-number validation, edge microsegmentation, and automated quarantine of noncompliant or spoofed devices. The result was a locked-down wired network that validates each device on every connection, automates moves/adds/changes, produces detailed logs and weekly inventory reports to track build progress, and significantly reduces the attack surface across thousands of corporate and IoT endpoints.
