City of London School Uses Bradford Networks and Xirrus to Support its BYOD Strategy

City of London School (founded 1834) is a prestigious independent day school in London educating nearly 900 boys with about 200 staff. The school needed to support a BYOD program for students and faculty, provide easy but secure guest and contractor access, and prevent unauthorized users from connecting to its wireless network.

CLS deployed Bradford Networks’ Network Sentry with Xirrus wireless infrastructure—implemented by Khipu Networks—to automate device onboarding, enforce AV/OS compliance and apply role-, device- and location-based access. The result was higher student satisfaction from seamless mobile access, simplified guest registration that reduced IT workload, stronger network security and peace of mind for IT, with plans to expand the solution schoolwide.
