The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the UK’s leading membership and qualification body for accounting technicians, was spending excessive time chasing undelivered invoices and dealing with customer claims that documents “hadn’t been received.” With invoices generated from Microsoft Dynamics AX and sent as PDF email attachments, AAT had no reliable way to verify delivery or viewing, which often only became apparent when invoices hit 30 days overdue.
AAT implemented Bottomline’s PrecisionForms and PTX Connect (integrated with Dynamics AX) to deliver documents via secure online links and track opens, downloads and delivery exceptions. The low‑cost deployment was quick to set up, lets staff correct failed addresses and resubmit batches, and provides audit trails for credit-control conversations. As a result AAT reduced duplicate requests and chasing time (saving over a day per month), improved payment visibility and cash‑flow management, and gained a future-ready, Dynamics 365-compatible solution.
