Shortens its Invoice Days and Significantly Increases Monthly Cash Flow with Cloud-based, Accounts Receivable Platform

James M. Pleasants (JMP) is an employee-owned manufacturer’s representative with 15 offices across the U.S. Southeast that grew rapidly from $18M to $100M in revenue. As invoice volumes surged, its AR team—already using PrecisionForms with Dynamics AX—couldn’t confirm email delivery or know when the 30-day payment clock began, leading to undelivered invoices, frequent resends, high past-due balances and delays caused by frequent AP contact turnover.

JMP implemented Bottomline’s PT‑X Connect, a cloud-based AR delivery and tracking service (delivering invoices as both a link and attachment) with a quick implementation. The platform provides real-time visibility—received, opened, printed or downloaded—and flags undeliverable addresses and automated vacation notices, enabling contact clean-up and faster follow-up. Results include invoices being paid about five days earlier on average (adding several hundred thousand dollars in monthly cash flow), reduced past-due AR, and plans to convert remaining customers to electronic delivery and roll out account statements.
