Oak Trust (Guernsey) Limited, a privately owned trust and company administration firm serving an international (largely African) client base, was handling up to 10,000 individual payments that required access to multiple banks. The volume exposed complex, time-sensitive and compliance-heavy manual processes, driving up administration costs and preventing staff from focusing on client service.
Oak Trust deployed a two-part solution—BankClarity’s payment engine combined with Bottomline Technologies’ SWIFT Access Service—to create an integrated, automated, compliance-based payment system. The new setup provides seamless connectivity to three banks (with more planned), a full audit trail, reduced reconciliation tasks, lower operational risk, improved administrative productivity, and allows staff to concentrate on delivering better customer service.
