Guild Group, a financial services provider for pharmacists across Australia, was handling up to 6,000 invoices a year through largely manual accounts payable processes. Paper and emailed invoices were scanned and uploaded one-by-one, consuming hundreds of staff hours, causing lost documents, slow approval cycles and errors that hampered expense control and cash-flow visibility.

Working with Bottomline, Guild deployed Invoice Automation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to digitise the entire invoicing lifecycle and store documents in a central, Australia-hosted cloud repository. The solution eliminated manual handling, gave full visibility and control over approvals, cut average invoice processing from around 35–37 minutes to about 11 minutes, and freed staff to focus on higher‑value work—while positioning the business to further reduce cycle times with planned purchase-order automation.
