ASSA ABLOY Locks In Productivity and Efficiency Gains with Bottomline Technologies’ Transform® AP Solution

ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in door-opening solutions, faced declining productivity in its accounts payable (AP) function due to a manual, time-consuming workflow. The company was using Oracle I/PM without an interface to its JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) ERP, requiring staff to scan and attach invoices and documents individually; with Oracle I/PM being phased out and AP duties consolidated, ASSA ABLOY needed a user-friendly, JDE-integrated solution.

They implemented Bottomline’s Transform AP for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, which provided seamless integration, a familiar JDE-style interface, advanced OCR and intelligent invoice fingerprinting. The solution automated invoice capture and entry into JDE, reduced manual attachment and review time, improved visibility and cash-flow control, enabled remote access to invoice images, and has already been rolled out across multiple group companies with plans to expand further.
