Dell’s Licensing Solution Provider (LSP) business needed to automate Microsoft volume-license order processing for customers ranging from SMBs to large enterprises. Orders were handled manually—entered, batched weekly, transmitted, and re-entered after Microsoft responses—which was unsustainable, limited sales adoption, and couldn’t scale given complex authentication and no prebuilt integrator for the Azure-based MPSA system.
Dell implemented Dell Boomi AtomSphere as an on‑premises B2B integration layer between the GFX fulfillment system and Microsoft’s API, using WebSphere MQ and Azure Active Directory token-based authentication to automate order submission, acknowledgements and invoice retrieval. The solution sped time to market, enabled scalable processing, produced a 58% month‑over‑month adoption rate and supported the processing of $30 million in revenue.
