North Lawndale College Prep (NLCP) is a public charter school with two campuses, more than 750 students and about 90 staff. Like many high‑stress educational environments, NLCP faced challenges with burnout and employee turnover and needed a practical way to strengthen morale, recognition, and day‑to‑day staff connection.

NLCP adopted Bonusly to build a “network of joy” where staff can quickly and authentically recognize one another. In the first four months the school logged more than 2,000 recognitions, with staff adding onto 17% of recognitions and 46% of activity happening through Bonusly’s iPhone and Android apps—helping leadership advance a culture of gratitude and collective celebration.
