Delhaize needed to improve the availability and performance of critical DB2 databases and applications to avoid outages, missed deadlines, and disruptions to its just‑in‑time retailing operations.

BMC deployed MainView for DB2 and MainView AutoOPERATOR for z/OS to provide a single point of control, real‑time and historical monitoring, and rule‑based automation of routine tasks. The six‑week rollout (installation, training and migration) delivered automatic exception detection and corrective actions, faster problem resolution, improved IT productivity and responsiveness, and higher availability of Delhaize’s critical systems to support reliable retail operations.
