DPI Specialty Foods confronted slow, paper-based ordering at its Portland trade show, where attendees had to mark catalogs and staff manually transcribed orders, creating delays and errors. BlueCart created attendee and exhibitor accounts, customized product listings for special deals and delivery dates, enabled electronic transactions, and delivered automatic post-show reports on dollars spent, number of transactions, and connections made. The BlueCart solution sped ordering, reduced handwriting errors, boosted order volume, and provided analytics for fulfillment and promotion—supporting DPI’s three annual trade shows that generate roughly $1 million in transactions.
