Zurich UK Invests in Customers and Employees with a Successful Intelligent Automation Program

Zurich UK, part of the global Zurich Insurance Group, faced legacy processes, operational complexity and misaligned teams that were slowing delivery and harming customer experience. To address these challenges the insurer adopted intelligent automation and engaged SS&C Blue Prism to help build a digital workforce and modernize core operations.

SS&C Blue Prism deployed 55 digital workers across more than 120 processes, working alongside ABBYY FlexiCapture for document intake, and supported initiatives like a rapid notification portal and faster electronic claims payments. The program processed 3 million transactions, improved scalability and customer experience, and freed frontline staff to focus on higher‑value service.
