Virtual Workers Enable Milaha to Quickly Process Hundreds of Invoices Each Day

Milaha, a major maritime and logistics company in the Middle East, faced a daily flood of hundreds of paper and digital invoices that required manual sorting, routing and double data entry across multiple satellite subsystems and the ERP. To address this bottleneck, the project engaged partners including ABBYY and FourNxt and deployed SS&C Blue Prism’s Digital Workforce alongside ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices to reduce manual effort and speed processing.

The solution used ABBYY FlexiCapture to classify and extract invoice data, then passed results to SS&C Blue Prism’s Digital Workforce to validate, reconcile and post transactions into the ERP, creating digital workflows and audit trails. As a result, SS&C Blue Prism’s automation cut invoice processing time by 64%, enabled virtual workers to process hundreds of invoices each day, increased employee productivity and throughput, and reduced routing and data-entry errors.
