Uniper, a leading international energy company, set out on a full digital transformation to standardize processes, boost staff efficiency and reshape organizational culture. To achieve these goals it partnered with SS&C Blue Prism, adopting the Blue Prism Robotic Operating Model (ROM) and establishing a Center of Excellence to ensure consistent automation from ideation through implementation, maintenance and retirement.

SS&C Blue Prism’s ROM and Digital Workers were deployed across finance, procurement, commercial operations and front‑office trading (dispatching and scheduling), running nominations every 5 minutes, checking meter data for 3,000 customers and generating daily bills, and processing more than 100,000 purchase requests per year. The solution accelerated invoice processing to 24–48 hours, reduced trader workload and operational risk, and delivered measurable efficiency and quality improvements across the business.
